Short summary: grandness galore. Helena has proven once again that she outranks many singers in the genre on a vocal level John seemed to have transformed into Audun. I wonder why he wasn't there. The solos of some songs were left out because of this, which was a pity, but Audun did a great job as a substitute. They played the following songs (can't remember the exact order, but I think it was like this): The Birth Of.../Mysted By Desire Mirror Mordor Braveheart Into Paradise Raped By The Devil Queen Of Light The Calling The Lotus Eaters Here's some videos I made: The Birth Of.../Mysted By DesireMirrorBraveheartRaped By The DevilQueen Of LightThe CallingThe Lotus EatersThe soundmix in the hall was really bad; natural acoustics caused major problems for all bands throughout the day and during Imperia's gig the soundman thought it was nice to add the most annoying delay on the vocals (though it was gone at times...). So acoustics + delay = crappy sound. Oh well, the gig was great in spite of this. Random dances and scary faces combined with fantastic operatic vocals turned this show into great fun.
